This story has both on-page sex and cussing (including a dozen or so f-bombs) so if that will cause you to leave a bad review, you should skip this one. While this is technically the second story in the Animal Attraction series, it completely stands alone and you do not need to read Dear Jane to enjoy this one. (Though you should because it's hilarious.)

“Fake-relationship” is my favorite trope in the romance genre, and this book is one of the best stories that I have ever read in that category. Watching the relationship develop between Taylor and Caitlin in the way that it did gave me the warm-fuzzies as I read. I loved their “meet cute” and the way that Taylor's family played such a big part in their relationship. All of the scenes with his family were excellent, and I thought that entire segment of the story was both fun and unique.

Caitlin and Taylor are both really great characters. Even though Taylor doesn't come off as the nicest guy to begin with, give him a chance because this is a Marissa Clarke book and she doesn't know how to write a male character who isn't book-boyfriend-worthy. He might come off as a bit of a putz to begin with, but he is actually incredibly, stupidly charming and wonderful. Caitlin is the kind of hot mess that I can totally identify with, and I adored her from the start. The thing I loved most about this book is that they got to know each other and really developed a friendship before falling into bed together. That solid base is what makes me believe in their happily ever after. Also, I have read a lot of romance books so I can say this with authority: their first kiss was smoking hot, holy cow. That kiss was five-star.

If you've read Ms. Clarke's Anderson Brothers series (which you really should because it's excellent), you'll really enjoy the little cameos by the brothers and their wives in this story. However. This story left me with questions that were unanswered in regards to Chance and Gen, so if Ms. Clarke would kindly consider a novella to update us on the Anderson brothers happenings, that would be amazing.

If you enjoy a fake relationship romance with meddling family members, a big dog, humor, heart, and heat, you really should read this book.

The same and yet different take on the story line of fake fiance. I like that story line and find that some authors do it better than others. This one was a better than others.
Love this author! This is a cute story of unexpected love. And there’s a dog, so it’s all good!
This is one of the few books in the past couple of years that I couldn't put down. It was so easy to get totally involved with the characters and to feel involved with every situation. This book has it all, with the story flowing easily with huge entertainment.
I could not put this book down! The characters are lovable, the plot is adorable, the mood is funny, romantic, sexy, and caring! Plus it counts as a Christmas story. Double plus there are animals, and one especially cute and rascally St. Bernard. This sweet romance is perfect for reading by the fireside or in the glow of Christmas lights!

Even though the book is shorter in length compared to other romance books, the relationship between the main characters was incredibly well developed. It was realistic and funny and believable and I LOVED LOVED LOVED the slow build up to their HEA.

A fantastic way to start my reading this new year.
I loved these two! Comedic love story between a sizzling hot private helicopter pilot Taylor and his matchmaking dog's walker, Caitlin. When the dog, Beau, needs a day sitter after swallowing a ring, Caitlin is forced to stay. The ring is recovered, and despite the bad luck it's said to bring on, she tries on the ring - which gets stuck... enter Taylor's hilarious but observant grandmother.

After badgering her grandson to find his forever person, she is delighted with this development. Taylor convinces Caitlin to play along for the weekend to make Grams happy, which she reluctantly agrees to. As fate would have it, she has a marvelous time and it's only her fear of repeat mistakes that holds her back from Taylors offer off more time together. Add in an animal riot and a handful of misunderstandings and you have the basis for this gem!

I absolutely loved how each character jumped off the pages, from Taylor's sister Beth to Caitlin's friends Jane and Fiona... and Gram, she was beyond my favorite! Wonderful quick read; I instantly one clicked the rest of the series❤
Three Day Fiancée is a fantastic and very cute read. It gives you the good awe feelings and will give you good giggles too. I love how Taylor and Caitlin meet. Leave it to the actions of a dog named Beau tp bring these two together. Boy does the sexual tension between Caitlin and Taylor evident. I love the bossy sweet side of Taylor and I love the little sassy yet sweet side of Caitlin. You can tell she struggles with trusting her heart. For that fact I love that Taylor is a little bit gentle with her. Just wait until you meet Grandma. I'm telling you she is one of my favorite characters in Three Day Fiancée. Her antics for family weekend and after will leave you laughing out loud. A fantastic read for you dog lovers or even the fake engagement turned love story lovers out there. You don't want to miss this one.
