I enjoyed the book.
I LOVE Cade!!!!
I did have a few minor issues.
There were grammatical typos (mostly homonym mix-ups) throughout. THAT wasn't the issue.
Why does everyone use the Greek god reference? The carvings of Greek gods are KNOWN for their minuscule genitalia.and as a whole whenever they are mentioned I snicker because of the inadvertent insult toward the male form in that aspect.

In Paul's 'interrogation' an important question was never asked. That being, when he realized that his family was uncomfortable with his meeting Hannah why did he not attempt to contact her IMMEDIATELY so she would be AWARE that he would not be there instead of standing her up?
I personally did not like how his lack of common courtesy was simply glossed over.
I also didn't buy that everything was all Hannah's mother's fault (it was too easy to lay all his problems at the feet of a dead woman who could not defend herself).
No matter how you slice it Hannah's mother didn't force him to keep the knowledge that he had a child from his wife, THAT was convenient to him and the made it way too easy on him while he blamed the DEAD WOMAN who PROVIDED for her child.

I am not saying that the Paul character was a bad character, I'm saying that the Paul character was a SELFISH character. On all fronts he protected himself:
He never made any attempt to find Hannah's mother (even though he himself admitted to having known her full name which is as good a start as any if he WANTED to be a part of his child's life)
He never told his wife that there even WAS a child out there (and having seen his wife's character I would be inclined to believe that was because that knowledge would have jeopardized their relationship in the early stages due to his negligence of his own flesh and blood) which was further a selfish act because he never prepared her for the possible eventuality of said child possibly showing up on her doorstep.
Conveniently the first time he was supposed to meet her his 'family' had an issue with it (a statement that seemed to have simply been accepted and never questioned or repeated in front of his wife so we don't even know if it is the whole truth). Even if that was the entire story of that day he seemed to push the fault and responsibility for what he did onto them.
He was always the good guy. None of it was ever HIS fault. It was the groupies, it was her mother, it was his family. And he must be in her life because HE wants to be.
He wasn't a bad person but it seemed that on every turn he WAS irresponsible and selfish and yet they seemed to cast him as some sort of wounded hero.

Three Christmases No Weddings Volume 4 Kat Bastion Stone Bastion 9780692023815 Books Reviews

Must read
Enjoyed
again read it.
The other reviews already provide information on this book as well as the series. I will only add that it made me smile, it made me laugh, brought a few tears up and did what a book is supposed to do.. It allowed me to spend time with characters who drew me into their fictional lives as though they were real. I enjoyed every minute of it.
I am speechless, I can't believe the series is over. Hannah and Cade are one of the most real couples in book land. Hopefully, it is not truly over, there are other family members. Only thing left to say - read the series if you haven't, it's great, so many ups and downs, but they finally got it right.
Cade and Hannah's story continues in this book. This time, the book has both pov's alternating throughout the book. That makes it nice because you can find out what the other is thinking in certain situations. Now that Cade's ex is finally out of the picture, the newest person to pop into their lives is Hannah's absent father. Having never met him before, much less know his name, Hannah doesn't know what to think about getting to know him. I don't blame her for being cautious in proceeding because it is hard to trust people, especially after everything she has been through. Cade ends up taking a job on the west coast, which of course adds strains to the relationship. Cade still participates with Invitation Only events and the Christmas parties at the end of the year really tests everybody. After Hannah and Cade finally decide the best way to handle the long distance relationship, their solutions came as a surprise. I really liked Cade's vision of how to pull off the Christmas party that he is in charge of. It definitely is the one that everybody will be talking about out of the three parties. I'm just glad that their story is not quite over yet and will have another book for their story to continue in.
I am seriously hooked on Cade & Hannah, so much so that I was hoarding this book so I could read them back to back! Yup I do that, nearly killed me but, I managed!

With that being said, I am so glad I waited! In Three Christmases I felt like SO much happens to Cade & Hannah. Cade is offered a dream job, Hannah expands her business and Invitation Only is flourishing. But when Cade does accept is dream job with the encouragement of Hannah, the relationship between the two takes a hit. Not as in it falls apart, but as in technology gets in the way and long distances sucks! Cade & Hannah have stolen moments and weekend where there is nothing but them! The exhilaration that came through when they are reunited had me jumping for joy and when they had to part at the airport, bawling ensued on my end! I don't know how Hannah sucked it up, she has become such a strong character in her own right.

Through out the story their struggle touched my heart so much. Missed weekends, life events, and just the little things that we take for granted in a relationship until we don't have them start to take their toll. Just as Cade & Hannah have smooth sailing a head, a blackout knocks out communication on both ends during the worst part of a conversation!! Just when I couldn't stand the suspense anymore- the best and most romantic ending ever happened!!! Holy crap- I need to find a Cade of my very own to live happily ever after with!

This book totally had me as an emotional mess and melted my heart in the end.
I enjoyed the book.
